Sophie - Now known as Darcy
Sophie was a 4 month old puppy when she came to us in March 2008. She had been purchased from a back-yard breeder by a family who soon realized that having a puppy was not the right dog for them. They were gone all day to work and Sophie was home alone, not receiving the attention she needed. The "breeder" was not responsible in that he did not place his dogs on a contract and commit to life-long responsibility for the dog he had bred. He did not want Sophie back and so she came to our rescue.
Sophie was a cute little girl with a silly grin on her face! She soon got a grown-up hair cut and a start on her training. And then she got a special mommy who is home all the time -a life-long poodle lover. She now is a cherished, happy little girl with a doting mom! And..her new name is Darcy!
